Poodle Club

Making new best friends since 1955

Welcome to the
Columbia Poodle Club, Inc.

The Columbia Poodle Club is a regional AKC-affiliated breed club that has been serving Poodle enthusiasts in the Columbia River area since 1955.

The purposes of the Club include promoting the best of the three purebred Poodle Varieties through fostering friendship, respect and education among Poodle owners, encouraging high standards of breeding in accordance with the written Poodle Club of America breed standard, and providing shows and other events for Poodle competition and continued education about the breed.

The policies of the Club encourage responsibility and integrity in the breeding practices of members, and the testing and screening of breeding dogs to control health issues in poodles.

The Columbia Poodle Club, Inc. is organized as a charitable 501(c)(3) Oregon corporation which can accept tax-deductible contributions.

Highlights

Each year, The Columbia Poodle Club sponsors two Poodle specialty shows in Oregon that coincide with large breed shows:

These shows are wonderful events for seeing some of the country’s most beautiful Poodles and for meeting some of our members and exhibitors.

Click on our Events page for more information on our shows and other activities sponsored by the Club.
